Hokokuji Temple belongs to Rinzaishu-Kenchojiha.
This temple is famous for the bamboo grove on its grounds.


















This is the entrance to Hokokuji Temple.








As soon as you enter Hokokuji Temple, you will see a Japanese garden.





This Japanese garden adopts the " Karesansui " style.
The "Karesansui" style is understood to be "a garden that uses mainly stones and sand on flat land to symbolically represent landscapes".
"Karesansui" style represents a stream or pond without the use of water.

Passing through the temple's main hall, visitors can stroll through a bamboo grove.

After passing through this Japanese garden, you will finally enter a bamboo grove.
