This is a cape called "Nagasaki-bana" in Oita Prefecture.
The name is confusing, like the name of a place in Nagasaki Prefecture.
There are about 30 capes of the same name called "Nagasaki-bana" throughout Japan.
The bana (hana) in Nagasaki-bana stands for promontory, which is probably so called because it sticks out like a person's nose.


There is a sunflower field in "Nagasaki-bana" in Oita Prefecture.
The scenery of sunflowers and the sea is one of the most appropriate landscapes for summer in Japan.
