Mikado Shrine is dedicated to Oyamatsuminokami and Teikaoh.
Oyamatsuminokami is said to be the spirit that protects the mountain, and Teikaoh is said to be the royal family of Baekje, who died in 660.

Mikado Shrine was founded in 718.
