Fukouji Temple is a temple belonging to " Tendai-shu Jimon-ha ".
The history of this temple is said to have begun in 823.
The temple is also famous for its "Garyo-bai" plum tree.
"Garyo-bai" is named after the plum tree trunk that undulates like a dragon.
