On May 23 and 26, 2021, I drove around Mount Aso in Kumamoto Prefecture.
One of my favorite things to do from early summer to autumn is to enjoy the scenery of Aso.
This time I stopped by "Native lily of the valley in Namino" and "A row of cedar trees in Kikuyo".










This is the "Native lily of the valley in Namino".
The Japanese lily is a flower that grows wild in the highlands of central and northern Japan.
This is why it is rare for lily of the valley to grow wild in Kyushu.
The peak of the 2021 lily of the valley at this location was on May 16.














This is the "A row of cedar trees in Kikuyo".
